En
aquesta novel.la de Terry Pratchett, uns vampirs modernitzats, sota el lema
“Carpe Jugulum”, amenacen la pau al regne de Lancre. Les bruixes s’hi hauran
d’enfrontar. Es tracta d’un dels llibres on apareixen Gytha Ogg i Esmerelda
Weatherwax, les bruixes de Lancre, que ho són, més que per cap poder especial,
per ser dues dones grans que coneixen molt bé la naturalesa humana.
Recomanable
per als aficionats a la literatura de vampirs: n’és una bona sàtira.
